Thursday official holiday to mark Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) birthday
Abu Dhabi, March 17, 2008. The Civil Service Bureau has announced that Thursday, Rabia Al Awal, 12, corresponding to March 20, will be official holiday for ministries, public departments and institutions nationwide, to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), according to the decision issued by HE Dr Khalifa Bekhit Al Falasi, state minister and head of civil service council. On this occasion, Al Flasi congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Their Highnesses Rulers of UAE emirates, on the advent of the prophet's birthday, The civil service congratulated the Arab and Muslim nations and UAE people in particular, on this great occasion.
